Mein Eindruck:
Es sind jetzt mehr als 20 Jahre vergangen und das Buch wurde nicht in Deutsch übersetzt, daher habe ich es im Original gelesen.
Es ist der letzte Teil von Alistair MacLeans UNACO-Reihe, die er entwickelt hatte, aber nicht selber geschrieben hat. Einige Teile wurde für den Fernseh- bzw. Video-Markt verfilmt, Borrowed Time meines Wissens nach aber nicht.
Die UNACO ist die United Nations' Anti-Crime Organization.
Das Team der UNACO ist unverändert. Sie sind alle wieder dabei.

Obwohl sie ein Team sind, treten sie zunächst einzeln in ihrem Einsatz auf.
Kashmir als Schauplatz ist ungewöhnlich. Besonders in den Sabrina-Szenen geht es von der Action her ziemlich zur Sache, sie ist gezwungen einige Gegner auszuschalten.
Borrowed Time ist klar besser als sein direkter Vorgänger.
Lange habe ich UNACO nicht mehr gelesen, da hat es Spaß gemacht, auch wenn der Plot nicht ganz so zwingend war. Ich bin auch froh, dass die Serie zu einem guten, wenn auch offenen Ende gekommen ist.
