    22.03.2005: VADER trennen sich von Doc


    VADER haben sich nach langjähriger Zusammenarbeit von ihrem Schlagzeuger Doc getrennt. Bandleader Peter hat hierzu folgendes Statement veröffentlicht:


    "We have been building 'the VADER Empire' together since '88... The success of our music was no doubt the success of Doc himself. Not just a talent is but the main point of being a part of a BAND, not only musical abilities but — first of all — devotion, utterance.... We had already such a problems before (Shambo, Simon..). Doc pretty hard tried to 'fight' against his weaknesses, which were troubles for all of us. Finaly he had not prevailed over that battle... All in all, he attempted.


    "VADER today is not just a friendship anymore — it's our life with armies of man involved in music, releases and — first of all — fans waiting for shows or new albums... This is a high responsibility, not too many know about. If a person, even the most talented one, cannot stand it — has to leave... That was Doc's decission as well. 'But the world keeps turnin'...' and the same is with VADER. We were and we will be!!!


    "For Doc, his girlfriend and newborn son we all wish good luck and wanna thank mim for all those great years, in which we were touring across the world!!!


    "From now Daray has been officially confirmed as a new drummer of the band. Not really brand new, he has been playing with the band since one year and recorded the latest album "The Beast"."





    aha, ich dachte der Doc sei Gitarrist...tja, so kommt ein Doppelleben als Drummer an´s Tageslicht :-)

    Aber ok, war klar, daß die Presseheinis das wieder aufbauschen. Aber gut, daß sie das im letzten Absatz mit der rührigen Familiensache geschluckt haben und die Wahrheit weiterhin im Verborgenen bleibt. Hihi!

    Communic - Conspiracy In Mind (2005)




    Den Preis für das beste Debut 2005 dürfte dem Album kaum zu nehmen sein, selbst wenn es um das Album des Jahre gehen wird... diese Scheibe wird gaaanz oben dabei sein.



    Ein wirklich tolles, abwechslungreisches Album in der Schnittmenge aus Nevermore mit Düstereinschlag und etwas reduziertem Tempo. Gefühlvoll, Heavy. kein Song unter 7 Minuten (OK, das kann nicht unbedingt ein Qualitätsmerkmal sein :-))


    Für Metal Fans jeglicher Couleur ist Reinhören zumindest Pflicht... gebt dieser jungen Band ne Chance

    Ich hab gestern mal in Communic reingehört. Wirklich klasse, nur kostet das Ding bei Amazon rund 17 Euro. :-( Das ist mir definitiv zu viel. Mal schauen, ob's noch günstiger wird.

    Wenn die Tracklist von Amazon stimmt ist das neL Limited Edition... vielleicht Erstauflage ? Hab nämlich nix von einer Extra Lim- Ed. gehört.


    Auf der normalen Version sind nur 7 Songs drauf.


    Ich habe mich mal bei den Metal Mailordern umgesehen, da werden auch Minimum EUR 13,99 verlangt

    btw. Habt ihr schon gehört, dass Blind Guardian ab sofort ohne Drummer sind ?



    Thomen "The Omen" Stauch hat die Band (offiziell) aufgrund musikalischer Differenzen, aber freundschaftlich verlassen.


    Drei Tage nach Bekanntgabe, konnte man auf seiner Website www.thomen.de bereits Roughmixes seines neuen Projektes (Savage Circus) anhören. Die Teile klingen (noch ohne Chöre) schon recht fett nach älteren Blind Guardian...gut !


    Das lässt mich für BG Übles erahnen. Nachdem schon das letzte Album (A Night At The Opera) für meinen Geschmack derb überladen war und Hansi Kürsch nicht der dollste Sänger ist, könnte das noch aufgetakelter werden was die "Blinden Gardinen" da zusammenzimmern...
