Tja, mir liegen natürlich die letzten drei Niccolo-Bände auf der Seele. Klett Cotta hat die Reihe ja mit Band fünf eingestellt. Dtv wird die Taschenbuchausgaben ebenfalls nicht fortsetzen.
Da Klett Cotta schon der zweite Verlag war, der daran gescheitert ist, wird es wohl nie alle Bände auf Deutsch geben.
Von Maria Nurowska gibt es mehrere Romane und Erzählungsbände nur in polnisch, nicht in deutsch. z.B.:

Also mich verwirrt es total, daß von David Gemmel das 2. Buch über Skilgannon den Verdammten noch nicht auf Deutsch erschienen ist!!! 
Der 1. Band ist "White Wolf" und wurde übersetzt. Aber der 2. "The Swords of Night and Day" nicht. Hab sie ja beide auf Englisch gelesen, aber mein Freund hätte es gern auf Deutsch.
Und die "Eagle"- Bücher von Simon Scarrow sind auch noch nicht alle in Deutsch erschienen.
Ebenso die Biografie über Sir Francis Walsingham: "Elizabeth´s Spymaster, Francis Walsingham and the Secret War that saved England" (von Robert Hutchinson) Fantastisches Buch!

Obwohl Antonia Fraser eine historische Persönlichkeit wirklich gut mit Worten beschreiben kann und auch neugierig macht, welche Beweggründe hinter mancher politischer Entscheidung standen, komme ich mit diesem Buch in Englisch nicht weiter. Die Schriftgröße überschreitet 6 pt nur in der Überschrift und die Seiten sind so hauchdünn, dass man selbst nach stundenlangem Lesen nicht das Gefühl hat, vorangekommen zu sein. Hier würde ich mir eine deutsche Übersetzung wünschen, damit diese Qual ein Ende hat.
Oliver Cromwell stellt mich vor dasselbe Problem, bietet aber zur Belohnung auch mehr Hochglanzseiten Fotos zwischendurch.
Allerdings würde ich mir wünschen, dass Frau Fraser ganz nah am Original übersetzt werden würde und das Resultat hinterher nicht wie bei Marie Antoinette aussieht. Von vorher knapp 600 Seiten sind gerade mal 250 übrig geblieben, die dann auch nur ansatzweise ihr Leben wiedergeben. Eigentlich war das Buch genauso oberflächlich wie der Film.
Auf dieses Buch warte ich schon seit 2002.
Meine amerikanische email Freundin hat es mir empfohlen, es wird aber einfach nicht ins Deutsche übersetzt 
Die Autorin hat mittlerweile 3 Romane in USA veröffentlicht, dies hier ist ihr Debüt Roman.

Ach was würde ich drum geben, die "Tallis-Bücher" neu übersetzt zu sehen. Ich habe 2 Ausgaben von 1993 hier, die nicht so schön in der Übersetzung sind. Die Story gehört zu den schönsten Fantasy-Geschichten, die ich kenne.
Ich schreibe mal den Klappentext von der alten vergilbten Ausgabe ab:
Eines Nachts, als Tallis vier Jahre alt war, weckte sie ihr Bruder Harry und küsste sie. "Ich muss gehen" sagte er, "doch irgendwann werden wir uns wiedersehen". Dann verschwand er. Auch von diesem wunderbaren Buch würde ich mir eine Übersetzung wünschen. Ich lese zwar einiges an englischen Büchern, doch manchmal habe ich das Gefühl, mir entgeht vielleicht etwas...
Dieses hat mich auf Englisch so begeistert (ebenso wie die Fortsetzung), dass ich mir eine deutsche Übersetzung wünschen würde.

Auf jeden Fall fällt mir S.M. Stirling ein, von dem es kaum Literatur auf deutsch gibt.
Wünschenswert wäre die Nantucket-Trilogie, die mit ISLAND IN THE SEA OF TIME beginnt:
A cosmic disturbance transports the island of Nantucket and its inhabitants over three thousand years back in time to the shores of a Stone Age America. In addition to coping with the day-to-day problems of survival and the trauma of losing all connection with the modern world, the residents of the time-stranded island find their lives complicated by the presence of native tribes across the water. Die Reihe wird fortgesetzt mit AGAINST THE TIDE OF YEARS und ON THE OCEANS OF ETERNITY.
Faszinierend, wie eine ganze Gesellschaft plötzlich 3000 Jahre in der Zeit zurückreist und dort von völlig neuem anfängt.
Weil wir gerade bei Stirling sind - gute Ergänzung zur Nantucket-Trilogie und wie diese ein Teil seines THE CHANGE-Zyklus ist die Emberverse-Saga, die beschreibt, was nach dem Event, dass die Nantucket-Trilogie beschreibt, auf der zurückbleibenden Welt geschieht. Ein postapokalyptisches Meisterwerk!
Erster Teil ist DIES THE FIRE:
"What is the foundation of our civilization?" asks Stirling in this rousing tale of the aftermath of an uncanny event, "the Change," that renders electronics and explosives (including firearms) inoperative. auf deutsch hätte ich gern sämtliche Bände der Springer Praxis Book - Reihe; bisher habe ich Project Mercury, Gemini - Steps to the Moon sowie mehrere Bücher über das Apollo-Programm und die Mondlandung z.T. gelesen und dabei vieles nicht verstanden; toll fände ich auch eine Übersetzung von erzählenden Doku-Büchern (siehe z.B. unten)
noch hoffe ich auf das 40 bzw. 50 jährige Jubiläum gewisser Ereignisse ...
Ich hätte gern die restlichen Bücher von Melissa Hill auf deutsch, z.B. Before I forget
Eigentlich sind ihre Bücher auch auf englisch nicht sehr schwer, aber manchmal ist es mir trotzdem zu anstrengend...
